About the Recipe

Ingredients

For the Salmon:
  • 2 wild-caught salmon fillets

  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil or ghee

  • ½ tsp Himalayan salt

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp paprika

For the Turmeric Sauce:
  • 1 cup coconut milk (full fat)

  • 1 tsp turmeric powder

  • ½ tsp cumin

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp ginger powder (or fresh grated ginger)

  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

  • ½ tsp Himalayan salt

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Preparation

  • Season & Sear the Salmon:

    • Pat the salmon fillets dry and season with salt, black pepper, and paprika.

    • Heat olive oil or ghee in a pan over medium heat.

    • Sear salmon for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove from pan and set aside.

  • Prepare the Turmeric Sauce:

    • In the same pan, add coconut milk, turmeric, cumin, garlic powder, ginger, and salt.

    • Stir well and let it simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.

  • Combine & Serve:

    • Return the salmon fillets to the pan, coating them in the turmeric sauce.

    • Simmer for another 2 minutes, allowing the flavors to absorb.

    • Drizzle with fresh lemon juice before serving.

  • Garnish & Enjoy:

    • Serve with steamed vegetables, cauliflower rice, or quinoa for a complete meal.
