Salmon in Turmeric Sauce

About the Recipe

Ingredients
For the Salmon:
2 wild-caught salmon fillets
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil or ghee
½ tsp Himalayan salt
¼ tsp black pepper
½ tsp paprika
For the Turmeric Sauce:
1 cup coconut milk (full fat)
1 tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp cumin
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp ginger powder (or fresh grated ginger)
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
½ tsp Himalayan salt
¼ tsp black pepper
Preparation
Season & Sear the Salmon:
Pat the salmon fillets dry and season with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
Heat olive oil or ghee in a pan over medium heat.
Sear salmon for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove from pan and set aside.
Prepare the Turmeric Sauce:
In the same pan, add coconut milk, turmeric, cumin, garlic powder, ginger, and salt.
Stir well and let it simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
Combine & Serve:
Return the salmon fillets to the pan, coating them in the turmeric sauce.
Simmer for another 2 minutes, allowing the flavors to absorb.
Drizzle with fresh lemon juice before serving.
Garnish & Enjoy:
Serve with steamed vegetables, cauliflower rice, or quinoa for a complete meal.
